Color Study ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Images: Photos you open in Color Study are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your images.
Analytics: We collect anonymous usage analytics (such as which features are used) to improve the app. This data cannot identify you personally.
Advertising & Attribution (Mobile only): With your permission, we use Meta (Facebook) and Google advertising SDKs to measure the effectiveness of our ads. This includes tracking app installs and subscription events to understand which ads lead to conversions. On iOS, you will be asked for permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking occurs. You can opt out at any time in your device settings.
Purchases: If you purchase Color Study Pro, payment is processed by Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), or Stripe (web). We do not collect or store your payment information.
Account (Web only): If you use Color Study on the web and create an account, we store your email address and purchase status in Firebase to enable sign-in and restore your purchase across sessions.
Email Communications: We only use your email address for authentication (sign-in links). We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional content unless you explicitly opt in.

Your color palettes and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not sync or backup this data to any server.
On the web, if you create an account, your email address and purchase status are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) to enable sign-in functionality.
Color Study does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
